HURRICANE FRANCINE HOME REPAIR PROGRAM

This home was in need of a complete bathroom gut repair from long term water intrusion which compromised the bathroom flooring.

This home had extensive mold damage, the program provided a way to remediate and return the living room to the homeowner.

This home was damaged by one storm and worsened by Francine. The home repair program provided a much needed roof and soffit replacement.

This home needed a complete interior gut and repair of all floors, ceilings and walls.

The Hurricane Francine Home Repair Program provided critical home repair assistance to low-income and elderly homeowners whose homes were damaged by, or whose existing housing conditions were made worse by Hurricane Francine in 2024. The program focused on addressing essential health, safety and structural repair needs to help residents remain safely in their homes.

The program was administered by Extensive Empowerment Project, with sponsorship from United Way of St.Charles and funding provided by American Red Cross.

Through this collaborative effort, much needed repairs and home improvements were completed for storm-impacted homeowners helping to restore safe living conditions, prevent further deterioration, and support some of our community's most vulnerable as they continued their recovery and rebuilding efforts.
